Where is KONG?

This may sound strange, but I know they are turning the old Kong ride into the new "Mummy ride" or something like that. But I was curious as to what in the world they did with the animtronic figure of king kong? Was there an add in the Orlando classifieds for "one large monkey for sale?" I know too much time on my hands....I just have universal on the brain planning for our upcoming trip.

There was a giant feast and all the DISers from this forum got their fair share of Kong meat.

After the feast, they took the monkeys out back and disassembled them down into a bunch of pieces. I'm pretty sure the gave the prez one of the heads.

No seriously, he's probably been disassembled and put in storage somewhere. I'm sure Universal can find some other use for the big monkey in a commerical or a future movie.
