Where is Everyone having Thanksgiving Dinner in WDW?

We'll be having Thanksgiving dinner (at lunchtime) at Sanaa. The menu looked good and it has gotten great reviews. We made our reservations online, which I liked MUCH better than sitting on the phone negotiating places and times. We're staying at SSR for three nights after a three night cruise on the Dream earlier in the week. Looking forward to a week filled with Disney magic beginning in 36 days!

Yes the menu did look great - used Allears to pick our restaurant. When we were there in 2008 for Thanksgiving we ate at LeCellier and I wasn't that impressed. DH liked that they are also going to offer their regular menu. Have you ever eaten at Sanaa? This will be the first time for us...Wondering how the views are of the Savannah from the different areas in the restaurant. Do you have to have a window seat in order to see out? We leav for WDW in 32 days...can't wait!!!!
Debbie

I will be in WDW with the family for Thanksgiving for the 1st time this year. We have reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner at Whispering Canyon because we are staying at WL.
Was just wondering where everyone else was planning on spending Thanksgiving dinner?
:)

Hey there I'll be at wl for TG week also! We r eating at narcoossee's. We did cal grill a few years back and it sucked. Huge cal grill fan btw it was just they didn't have the regular crew there due to the holiday.

Narcoossee's is regular menu so I am assuming regular cooking staff then. I hope! Enjoy wl! It's awesome there!

We will be eTing at 1900 Park Fare. I have always wanted to have strawberry soup in place of cranberries at Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone! :wave2: This is my very first post on these boards so I hope you can help me. We too are having Thanksgiving Dinner at WCC, and I was just wondering if they still have the crazy antics going on or is it a bit more subdued for the holiday?

Welcome!
I've never done WCC for Thanksgiving but I'm kindof hoping for the crazy antics. My niece (13) & nephews (12, 3, 1.5) would get such a kick out of it!

Has anyone had Thanksgiving dinne at Ohana. Wondering if they change to menu at all? Hope not too much because we love their regular menu.

We did Ohana for Thanksgiving in 2009 I was expecting the normal menu but the entire menu is changed for the day. We had Turkey and all the trimmings
Even though it was very good I was disappointed because we try every year to have an unconventional Thansgiving dinner possible!
This year we are actually going to the Luau at the Poly!

We felt the same way about Yachtsman Steakhouse. I don't really like turkey and they did have steak on the menu but it was a set menu and I didn't like it nearly as much as their regular menu.

My family will be soooooooooooooooo disappointed if Ohana does not serve the normal menu!!!! Made this reservation long ago and never thought that they would serve something different:scared1: I'll bet there is no way to get Ohana for another date during our trip.

I'll be calling Disney dining 1st thing in the morning to verify what will be served:headache:

I'd like to know this as well!

We have any early dinner ADR for 50s Prime Time Cafe. We really wanted WCC, but I couldn't get a ressie for 8 people until really late at night. We're flying out of Pittsburgh at 6:25 Thanksgiving morning (so we have to leave our house at 2am), and I really don't want my 2 year old eating dinner at 9:00 after being up so early. That wouldn't be fun for anyone. :rotfl2:

We will be at Boma this Thanksgiving. We've done Victoria and Alberts and Citricos in past years. Victoria and Albert's was the most memorable Thanksgiving dinner we have ever had.
Citricos did not have a regular menu and although we still enjoyed it, we felt that the portions were extremely small.
Looking forward to Boma's this year with our group of family. It beats cooking Thanksgiving dinner here in NJ!

We are eating thanksgiving dinner at the fort where they have mickey's backyard bbq

WCC for Thanksgiving dinner. Myself, my wife, son (12), and 2 girls (8 & 1 3/4).

We ate there for Thanksgiving 2 years ago and absolutely loved it.

We'll be eating T-day dinner at Boma this year. We're looking forward to it and looking forward to a different type of Thanksgiving meal!!

We have done T-day several times before in WDW and many restaurants do change their menu for that day or offer a T-day option. In the past we've done, Cape May Cafe, Captain's Grille, Spoodles and Artist Pointe. All have been yummy.
