Fall/Early Winter 09/30/25 Incentives Released

Wow thats good to know!! I thought for sure the bungalows view would be better because it's so close, is it because it's lower to the ground? Thanks for taking that FOMO away, but makes sense, those Island tower rooms are the best rooms ive stayed at imo as well!
The bungalows are pretty unique and I dont think anything else really is like them. DVC Fan recently did a tour on you tube. Having been in them I think the space is smaller than I expected but the plunge pool and being on the water with a fireworks view cant be beat.

Thank you, im going to check out the tour, ive never looked on YouTube for it yet. How many ppl do you think the plunge pool fits? We are, of course, talking about wanting to save points and book this for a few nights, but I just keep on spending 🤣🤣

100% agree. This is the big selling point. Also, the water pageant is really close to some of them--especially if there's a little wind nudging them toward shore. I think it's the rooms in the low 7000s that are good for this, the rooms on the boat dock side.

Hmmm maybe 4/5 or 5/6 if some are kids Its hot tub size. TBH I always thought it was a hot tub until we toured it and he told us it wasnt. There is also a Ryan Trahan video (my kid has me watching him non stop) he stays in a Bungalow and isn't a Disney blogger so gives his real opinions.

Well, I'm officially back looking at resale and waiting to spot that unicorn. I thought about buying more points through direct over summer, but just couldn't do it. The slumbering grad student in me--from a couple of decades ago--wouldn't let me send that email. The devil on one shoulder: "but you spend so much time at the resorts." The devil on the other: "but seriously, for a few lounges?" Maybe when the fire sale for Poly happens. I think the sales indicate that Poly is behind expectations (not wildly--that is, not like the cabins, but sorta like GF) so there's a likely fire sale before LSL goes on sale. I doubt DVD wants two active large tower resorts to be active simultaneously in the MK area. They'd discount one and then start fresh with LSL. The DVD promotions for WDW almost always feature one WDW resort + (cue laugh track) Aulani + VDH (which will be for sale for years, but there's no immediate DVC competition being built out there right now.)

LOL. I used to think these were hot tubs as well--when I used to look over at them with curiosity, standing on the path outside of Moorea. I don't even think there are temp controls on them of any kind. but yes, the size of a hot tub--and not the size of hot tubs at Disney pools, more like the one in your backyard. That size hot tub--only not hot.

Im going to look him up, thanks!

It sells so much more than Riv, does it sell less than other resorts of the past or why do you think its lagging out of curiosity? I notice the Poly incentives are always worse than Riv, it seems like summer is the time to buy, but I need points for Aul in the fall so I'm probably going to end up buying in the spring time of next year

I thought they were hot tubs too, it would have been more sought after, I wonder why they didnt do it

This is why I think you're not missing much. The plunge pool is much smaller than the legit hot tubs at the Copper Creek cabins. I'm 6'4" and 275 lbs, and when I'm in the plunge pool at the Cabanas there is room for myself and my wife and that's it. Also, the lukewarm bath water feel of that plunge pool, especially in the open sun (no shade at the Cabanas), is just not inspiring if you want to cool off. The fireworks view is good, but not from inside the plunge pool because you're looking through the deck fence. Personally, I prefer the elevated view of the fireworks from the Poly Tower and if I need to be in the water while watching, I prefer the Poly Tower pool - it's roomier than the plunge pool in any Cabana.

Traveling with extended family, I already know the plunge pool is going to be an issue and people are going to feel some type of way if they cant be in it during the fireworks. I think I will reserve that experience for just my wife and I. And yes, I would be disappointed by the fence thing because in my mind it was a full, unobstructed view, but its good to know to dial down that expectation!

The PIT incentives are so bad that I really have nothing to say - they are just rearranging the deck chairs for an entire year without lowering the price to try to capture the potential buyers lower on the demand curve. Hopefully, they'll get to us eventually! It's Econ 101...

Just posting a comment so I can follow the discussion... :-)
