Where is disability seating at the Frozen Sing-along

I assume the DAS can still be used for the Frozen Sing-along but we have not been there since it moved to the current theater. Where in the theater is the disability seating? Also, is the smoke special effect still in use? In the old theater the smell was strong in the disability section. So many questions because the DAS holder has multiple issues.

It is right down in front in the first row. The smoke rolled off the stage and straight into our faces. It triggered my daughter's coughing and I hadn't brought her inhaler with us :/.
This was in July so I can't guarantee the smoke is still an issue.

We were there last week and were asked where we wanted to sit.
We used Fastpass, but since there is both a Fastpass line and a Standby line with posted wait times, DAS could be used.

There are 2 wheelchair accessible sections. The first is the front row and the 'fog/snow' effects will reach you.

The rest of the seating is in the very back row. We sat there for the Christmas Improv show last year. Based on that, I think it would be unlikely that the fog effect would get you in the back row.

We were not given a choice. I will be sure to ask next time we are there!

Yes.
If you are interested in which area, do ask.

It's possible you were not asked because one of the areas was already filled.
I will add that when we went to the Christmas Improv show last December/January, we had Fastpasses and were not asked. We were just put into the back row. We went to that show 3 times.

There is more interaction with the characters in the front row. But the closer you sit to the center, the more dry ice fog you'll get. The stage is raised, so if you are in the front row you need to look up to see. For a child, or wheelchair that sits lower part of their view is blocked by the stage. For pictures at the end when all the characters are on stage, you have to pick and choose which characters you want because they won't all fit the frame.

The view from the back row is way different. You can see the entire stage at once. And can get a picture of all the characters on the stage. Low seated wheelchairs may have a blocked view if someone tall is in front of them. My son user to use a Convaid Cruiser that sat low He preferred to transfer. And could see better from the theatre seat than the Convaid Cruiser.

1) Seating is
. . . way-way close, OR
. . . way-way far back
. . . sometimes they give you an option, other times, they just direct you to the space
2) The smoke and smell are still present in the theater.
. . . if up close, the smoke can easily reach you
. . . anywhere in the theater the smell is noticeable

We sat in the last row. I have no recollection of any smoke. Perhaps it wasn't used that day?

Here are some pictures. Only I would take pictures of smoke, lol.

This "smoke" effect looks like a waterfall center stage and flows right into those seated front and center.

We went in June. We sat in the back - saw a stage show sing-along. There were no special effects at all. I should remember something!

So - I texted my adult daughter. I'm not nuts after all! She saw a stage show sing-along. There were no special effects!

I assume something was not working that day. We truly enjoyed the sing-along without the special effects! We are returning in April 2016. We will go to see the special effects!!! I'm excited because it will seem "new" to us!

I don't remember the move date from the Premiere Theater to the "Idol" theatre. Maybe you saw it at the old theater? There were fewer special effects there. Or it could have been the new theater on a day where effects weren't cooperating?

i don't remember just when it moved either.
I know it was in the old location on May 22, 2015 because I have pictures from that day in the old location.
I know it was in the new location by June 17, 2015 for the start of 'Frozen Summer Fun.'
I don't know exactly when it moved, but it was in that less than 1 month time period.

My pictures were from the 1st day of FSF and after. Definitely sometime in June. I remember sitting on a ledge waiting for celeb autographs for SWW and seeing cm walk by loading in props. I have pictures of those being brought in on 6/12. My first new theater pictures are 6/17.

June 9th to 16th - I don't remember which day we went to the sing-along.

I checked with my daughter again - we went to the Frozen sing-along in the middle of our trip.

The narrators were extremely talented! I hope they are still there because I want to see them again!
