Denise, I'm with you. I've been pulling my hair out trying to organize everything for my upcoming trip. And Disney is not on my good side right now, because they're testing FP only for BOG, but there aren't any to be had for November at all!
I just don't understand why they think people want to schedule every minute of their vacation![]()
We felt that way too...WHY should we have to schedule every minute of our trip.
BUT...we make restaurant reservations which meant, in a smaller way, we were "scheduling" already. Overall our FP experience was good. The only "want" that wasn't met was oldest DD riding the Mine Train. DH, DGD and I rode it Stand By late one night...only a 20 minute wait. We found it VERY easy to change times; just checked back periodically for better options. Our group (of 37) actually did 75% of our FP's on the day we needed them. We pre-scheduled the really popular rides...Toy Story, Mine Train, Soarin' and Test Track when DD decided on the groups itinerary as soon as she got the soccer schedule ... 2 weeks before our arrival day. I even changed some of DD's times last week during her latest trip. She'd send her "request changes" before she went to bed and I'd check for the changes before I went to bed. The only dinner reservations we did early were scheduled early evening since we knew that wouldn't conflict with the soccer games. The rest were reserved the day of. We even found it pretty easy to change our meal reservations. Here again, we just checked back at various times and booked better times when/if they came up.I DON'T like the "Fastpass only" thing they're testing now and really hope the test trial is a bust. It's frustrating now but our entire group gave it a thumbs up after "living it". Hang in there....

You're "dating yourself" Diane!
