I wasn't born yet when Walt Disney died.

I was there the the first year HS or I should say MGM opened too.
I was also there for the opening of Epcot. We were there and got to see the taping of a TV special with Danny Kaye. Of course at the time I had no idea who Danny Kaye was but my Mom sure did.

I wasn't a "Disney freak" until after DD's were born. Our first trip was 3 months after our first daughter arrived. She stayed with her aunt; that "being a parent" business did us in and we needed a break! I do remember hearing of his death on the evening news during dinner. My first thought was wondering if the TV show would continue.

Fun morning watching DD's in the Austin County Fair Parade. One marching in the 7th grade band; the other dancing. Glad it was them covering the 4 mile parade route and not ME!

Registration/check in...this is in the same area but not part of that that process.

Disney has been part of my life since I first saw TV (it was black and white ) and Tinkerbell flew in and sprinkled magic onto the screen and Walt appeared! I lived in SoCal and went to Disneyland with my Dad several times. I guess my Mother was there too but she was not as into it as my Dad and I were. He went on all the rides with me!
