My next "rainy day Monday" crop; not a tree (like Denise's last crop) but a rock :

I know you can't wait to leave but boy will you miss that puppy when you're gone! Hope you have a good puppy sitter lined up and are ready to enjoy your trip. FP's set and meal reservations made? DD said the F/W Festival crowd was crazy a couple weeks ago...really long lines at the booths. Maybe by now the crowd has thinned and you'll be able to enjoy more booths than they did. Counting the days down with you!

I know, I'm already sad about leaving her. And don't get me started on puppy sitting The woman who found Belle was supposed to watch her for us, but it turned out they were going to be out of town the first weekend. So then I looked at a boarding place right by our house, intrigued because they said they only crated the dogs to sleep and eat. It sounded perfect, until I found out they don't require bordetella I promptly canceled her stay there, and am now boarding her at our vet. At least she'll have friends, as Mom and Dad are boarding Sienna and Apawlo there too.

Went through the same thing boarding Goopy for years. One year I even had one of my friends "move in" for the week we were gone to take care of him and his sisters. FINALLY a lady in a neighboring town built a "Doggie Resort and Spa". She is a customer of DD and her grooming salon so I knew she could be trusted. We even got daily "updates" via text! Goopy had the BEST time during the week we were gone...he even looked at me when I picked him up like..."do I HAVE to leave"! In the past we usually ended up using the vet too so trust your decision! Sounds like a good one.
