Of course, this is part of the Italy Pavilion in Epcot.
Not many of you knew about the gondola ride that was planned. According to "The Disneylands That Never Were" by Shaun Finnie: "The Italian pavilion too would have been very different. It was at one time designed to feature gondola rides. While the gondolas were created, they never carried their intended passengers, and they now sit as mere decorative vessels among the striped poles at the Italian waterfront section of the pavilion.”
