He really is a wonderful man. I met him once at a book signing. Duke players have always had the reputation of not just being teammates, but family.

For example, a few years ago a Duke player, Jay Williams, was the #2 draft pick for the NBA. Unfortunately before his season with the Bulls started, he was in a horrible motorcycle wreck and severely damaged his leg. He said that in the months that followed with rehab, Coach K flew out to see him, and his former teammates came to his house to help him out. Not one Bulls player called. There's a whole lot more to the story (the NY Times actually did a full feature on him) but it just shows you what Duke is like. I love them for many more reasons than their success.

That's what I'm talking about! Our high school has the same kind of coaches; they're not just teachers/coaches but part of the community and family. I'll check out the NY Times article!

We did grocery shopping yesterday and just have to pick up milk today, bought some yesterday but it's already half gone.

Boss won't close the office tommorrow even though she is not coming in. I'm not going to go to work tomorrow, three other girls aren't coming in either and one said maybe depends on how bad it is . One girl said she is definitely coming in, she may be the only one there.

I'm not surprised...I'm sure the one girl there will be SO busy she won't know what to do! Sounds like you're set...hopefully (like all other weather predictions now a days ) it won't be as bad as predicted. Keep us posted.

This is from the new Festival of Fantasy Parade. I'm not sure what the "Storybook section" of the parade is but it's not Mickey/Minnie's float.

The "Storybook section" is the one with M/M and the Fab Five...can't remember though if it's the beginning or end of the parade. Is it associated with a character other than the Fab Five?

Annie...check your PM...imagine my surprise when I sat down to read the Houston Chronicle this afternoon and a story on Coach K was on the front page of the Sports Section.
