My college team got spanked. I'm a huge Florida State fan. Not doing too well in my college bowl pool.

They DID get spanked! I'm doing really well this year with the exception of Baylor...the rest of my "favorites" have won ...and Texas and Oklahoma got spanked too which was a bonus in my book!

Pooh...sure wish they'd have run more in the 4th quarter. Passing was only working 1 out of 4 times. Good game and wasn't a "blow out"!

It definitely was not as bad as some of our past bowl games. I do feel like we have a problem with either passing when we should run or running when we should pass. Either way, I'm sad we're losing Carden and Hardy.

Can't dwell on it too much though, because now it's time for ACC BASKETBALL!!!!!!!!! I put away my purple and gold and pull out my blue and white....DUKE blue that is

That Hardy dude is GOOD! Wouldn't mind seeing him play with the Cowboys. You loose me now...basketball is not one of my sports! DGD is playing this year and I haven't been to a game yet ; I used the "Christmas decorating" as an excuse but going to have to "bite the bullet" and attend in January. The saddest part of the Christmas season for me is seeing college football end.

I think we are having the same weather. It is snowing now then it is supposed to turn to sleet and freezing rain. I'm with you much rather have the snow than freezing rain.

I went to NHTI for accounting. Back then I really had no clue what I wanted to do. Didn't really pursue the accounting career. Got a job in banking and worked my way up to a supervisor in the mortgage servicing department. Loved the job but when I had my son I decided I wanted to work part time so I could be home with him. I didn't want the 8 to 5 job. I told my manager that I wanted to come back to work part time and she said no my job was full time, so I transferred to one of our branches as a teller part time. About a month later she came in and told me she wanted me to come back and I could work part time. I said no you had your chance. I really liked it where I was.

You're NOT off to a good start! First game turned out as I expected but thought the Steelers would win in the late game. So I'm at 50% so far ...I'll be pulling for the Ducks in the final. Why? Their mascot reminds me of Donald! Lucky you on the basketball ; I'm thinking this will be Redstorms only year at it (HOPING)...she already hurt her ankle which is NOT good for the soccer & volleyball....but, can't fault her for wanting to give it a try.

If Hardy goes pro, I'll probably pull for whoever he goes to. I've never really been able to get behind the panthers, even though AAA is a sponsor haha.

When you grow up in central NC, there's no choice but to follow basketball. Relationships are tested over the UNC/NC State/Duke rivalries. I grew up a Duke fan, and really didn't even get into football until I got to ECU. Millbrook (my high school) was also really good at basketball, and since I was in pep band I was at every home game anyway.
