I'll be needing mine this week. Snow tomorrow night and freezing temps all week. They say Thursday is going to be a high of 7.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with the football playoff pool. I have the Pats going to the Super Bowl but against either Dallas or Green Bay. I can't decide. I keep changing.

I just read a story on Facebook about a massive accident on Hwy. 93 or 95 (can't remember...listening to football as I read )...somewhere in NH and I thought your "winter" has finally arrived! As for the playoff pool...DH says odds on favorite is Seattle. My heart wishes for a Denver/Dallas...Dallas being MY team~Denver the team with hometown Emmanuel Sanders. Our local newspaper editor asked me about 2 months ago if we DARED hope for that Super bowl matchup! My thoughts are with Dallas this weekend but DH already checked the weather forecast and considering the predicted temp in Green Bay NEXT week is 17 ...if I were you I'd go with Green Bay! Personally...not making any predictions...just "going with the flow" like we've done all season...and been pleasantly surprised!

There was a 35 car pile up on I 93. Snow squall. It was north of us. We had one where we are too. It started snowing really hard and the wind was blowing hard making the snow sideways and near zero visibility. It was coming down really fast I couldn't imagine driving in it especially on the highway. Last report was 12 injured and sent to hospital One had to be transported to Dartmouth. One car went under a tractor trailer and then caught on fire.

It was coming down really fast I couldn't imagine driving in it especially on the highway. Last report was 12 injured and sent to hospital One had to be transported to Dartmouth. One car went under a tractor trailer and then caught on fire.

Sounds miserable! Hope injuries weren't serious; that zero visibility scares me...been in that position in rainfall and all you can do is pray! Sounds like you have some miserable days ahead....

35 car pile up!?! Why would anyone go out driving in a snow squall!?! Those poor people! The poor rescue crews having to go out and deal with all that mess in the snow!

I know Annie follows college football and Diane the pros but have to brag a little on DD's alma mater...University of Houston. They won the Armed Forces Bowl 35-34 yesterday after being behind 31-6 with 13:49 left to play in the 4th quarter! They scored 22 points in the final 3:41 ; amazing comeback I knew our WITW football fans would appreciate!
