We still have an hour to go but son-in-laws fireworks ALMOST made me feel like I was at Disney World!

I do not go out on this night. Down at parents for the night. Dad is in bed. Mom and i are watching Kathy Griffin have fun with Anderson Cooper on CNN. She is a trip to watch what see does to Anderson.

I was reading some of the threads from the theme park community about those that are in the parks now and how bad the crowd is. For those that wanted to go on the rides some were up to 5 hour waits. Some were saying that the bag check lines were an hour long just to get in.

I did NYE once in the MK about 7 years ago with my son and it was a complete madhouse. Main street was shoulder to shoulder for hours leading up to midnight. We hung around in the park for a couple of hours afterwards and it still was crazy to get on the buses.

They have closed them very early sometimes, like early afternoon and then open up again when enough leave only then to close off again.

Nephew was married there on New Year's Eve ; my sister said "never again" would she spend New Year's Eve at DW!

**** We're watching the Country/Western entertainment out of Houston!

Must have been a GOOD movie! I tried to get on ********** and couldn't get logged in ; said my sign in and password weren't correct...same stupid sign in and password I've ALWAYS used!

Goodnight all...can't sleep through my alarm in the morning...have to get lunch ready for the family. AND...the good thing is...DH WON'T get called out 'cause he's no longer Commissioner! Hope we have 20 trees blow down on the roadways when the cold front comes in!

Just read your PM; you had a trip home like DD & I did driving home from our spring break Disney trip! As we said at the time, "By the Grace of God" did we arrive safely back to Texas! Glad you're home!
