Oh that stinks. She must be heartbroken. I guess with all the signs it’s a good thing they didn’t travel.

We've all handled delays without to many issues over the years. Up until yesterday, I had the "record" with my 45 minute delay and 2 1/2 hour on board wait in Orlando but they "shattered the record" yesterday. The purpose of leaving so early in the morning was to get to NYC and give Katie a fun, relaxing day before the auditions...she was really getting nervous and anxious as the time drew closer! With stress level "off the charts" by 5 in the evening, she was so "out of the zone" there was no way she was going to do well on that stage. Plus the fact they were looking at the hotel and food expense (as bad or worse than DW prices! ) over 3 days...just didn't feel right. Told her last night MAYBE another Disney audition would come up quicker than April, 2026 ...always trying to think positive!
