Going out for dinner this evening to celebrate Amanda's birthday which was yesterday. Instead of staying home for my home cooked dinner she and Bryan decided to go camping! They got a fun surprise about 6 Saturday evening when our cool front arrived...complete with first rain which turned into sleet and a little bit of snow! Glad we declined their invitation to join them for dinner at the campsite!

They were! Thank goodness it didn't last long and they had battery powered heaters (really "roughing it" ) for the tents for the cooler weather that night!

I'd say more like crazy! I wouldn't have been out there in the first place but they did have a nice campsite set up...complete with projector and large screen so Bryan and his brother could watch the basketball games. It was a perfect day Saturday...beautiful weather...until the cool front arrived... so they did have fun. Since they were surrounded by trees they probably didn't even see the dark clouds descending on them from the north so it turned out to be a real adventure for the kids in the group!
