Had such a fun evening with Allie and her 2 best friends from HPU. They made the trip from San Marcos and Sugerland to spend the day with Allie and visited us this evening to see our Christmas decorations. I introduced them to the "Find the Pickle" German tradition and it was an "epic hunt" ... I hid it WELL. After close to an HOUR Allie and Sydney were very close to giving up and stopped to "take a break" and rest their eyes when Courtney yelled...I think I finally found that sucker ! Now I have to hide it again for Christmas morning! SO happy to have Allie home for a few days and haven't seen these girls since Graduation Day last May!

It is and they were so funny! Would NOT give up but I wasn't much help with clues either. I FORGOT exactly where I'd hidden it! I'd remembered moving it after I'd hidden it at the top of the tree and thinking that wasn't fair to Sydney since she's "vertically challenged" ! Knew the general area so I was looking as hard as they were. They couldn't wait to play it with their families on Christmas morning and Syd's game should be quite an experience...she has 3 very competitive brothers! Starting doing that when the girls were little and they had to be occupied while we prepared lunch so it's been at least 15 years we've played it.
