Article said "a few miles"; not sure if that means a few miles from Epcot (which would probably be on Disney property) or a few miles FROM the entire Disney property which be pretty far away. Judging the size of it I'm thinking it was ON Disney property....that's not exactly a "small" tornado! Hopefully it never touched down. That's one of my "Disney fears". Not exactly a place to "seek shelter in a closed room at the center of a building"....the tornado "general rule"!

What a fun homecoming game! Expecting a "tight" game but the football team "knocked it out of the park" with a 49-14 win and Katie got her first experience being "lifted"! Loved the reaction on her face when Sara asked her if she was "scared"! Even managed to get a picture of her with her younger cousin who ALWAYS runs away from the camera! He was "trapped" tonight! Allie's in a "hold pattern" until game time but is expecting to get in maybe 10 minutes to test her knee so we're on the road bright and early to Brownwood in a few hours!

Goal reached for today! Her uniform was laid out in her locker last evening when she left the locker room so she knew she'd play. She was hoping for 10 minutes clock time; she got 15. The Co-Captain of the team called her mother this morning..."Mom...ALLIE'S coming back today!" Her teammates were happy to see her out there and that meant a lot; Coach was pleased with her play and Trainer said she was moving well just a little slow. When she went in she told her defender, "take it easy on me ; this is my first time back in a game". The young lady told Allie, "Only if you take it easy on ME...I think I have a broken wrist!" (CAN'T believe they let her play! The trainer told her it was either a break or a sprain and they'd x-ray when they got back to Oklahoma...just don't fall on it!" ) She did fine; a little slow but she charged the goal, stole a ball, passed well and defended the goal. She was "winded" at half-time but the conditioning will come. Best photo of the day...Treavor going out to meet her after the game with a huge hug.
