Been out working on Christmas decorations! Already have people asking WHEN they'll be turned on ; my Dec. 1 goal WILL be met but it'll be tight. Won't get out again until Saturday...busy week ahead...

This is part of something but wouldn't consider it large; it's a display and it's only "purpose" is to be part of that display.

Yes, this is an animal but I wouldn't consider it a statue.

WELL...after all the hard work both by the team AND Miss Katie to get her knee in shape, there is now 90% CHANCE OF RAIN between the hours of 9 and 11 AM...PARADE TIME! What the heck...a cool front picks THOSE 2 HOURS to move through Houston and create showers when it hits the warmer air! We'll be in the grandstands in raincoats (and wearing my "really pretty non-slip pool shoes") and they'll be slowly marching down Smith St. in their royal blue Christmas costumes with dripping wet hair and hopefully WATERPROOF MAKEUP ! At least we'll have this evening to explore the downtown Houston Christmas lights and eat dinner together. While the team enjoys Benihana's the parents/grandparents will be at the famous Guadalajara's and then we'll "stroll" downtown. Just praying no one slips and "busts a knee"! And we're off to deal with Houston traffic! It's a "which way is the LEAST congested" choice!

We've been watching that front all week and it hasn't changed! Hopefully it won't be a downpour! This is in front of hotel before they left on their walk to the dinner restaurant. The parade ends at this hotel do it's perfect...they can just walk in the front door!
