....there's no easy solution. My nieces were all vaccinated and the middle daughter got covid last month, a week before my DS contracted it.....Issues with Covid raising it's ugly head again.
My great niece, her husband AND father-in-law have all tested positive. All three have been vaccinated.
And then Allie and her roommate are stressed trying to decide what to do. As her roommate says..."we have to choose between possible blood clots (with 1 vaccine) and issues with having children (with another)".
These young ladies should not be having to make this decision.
And....we're discovering it doesn't seen to be preventing those "positive test results".
Emily had made her appointment, drove to the pharmacy, sat in the car starring at the door and decided to drive away. They're so confused.
Our county cases are now at 130; a few months ago we were at 3.

...don't be too sure. My DH's lease will be up in November for his Ford truck. They are willing to extend the lease because there simply is no inventory....I hope vehicles are quicker than furniture.![]()

Absolutely no easy solution. She also has the "underlying condition" of iron deficiency. J&J shot sees more blood clot issues and iron deficiency can lead to blood clots.
Other shots have the slight possibility of fertility issues later. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
We're NOT having a good morning down here in Texas. Youngest DGD received word that another of the dance team members has tested positive on the 13th day after exposure at dance camp. But, far worse, great-niece's husband (who tested positive last Friday) was doing much better yesterday; woke up this morning with a terrific headache and couldn't breathe. They just transported him to the local hospital.
Great niece tested positive yesterday. They've both had the first of 2 shots. Another local citizen received her 1st shot last Tuesday; yesterday she was life flighted to the medical center in Bryan/College Station in pretty bad shape.

That is all so sad.
We are having problems too. They have cancelled all non essential surgery again. Which so sucks for so many people!
My understanding is that no one who has had both shots or the J&J dies and the hospitals are full of people who refused to get vaccinated. If we has as hard of a time getting everyone vaccinated historically, we'd still be fighting polio, TB and smallpox. I sign up for every vaccine I can get. Shingles, pneumonia, covid, the flu. But only like 25% of the people in my country are vaccinated.![]()
