David walked in the back door after work carrying "50 carnations for 50 years" for our anniversary! We had pink carnations (my favorite cut flower) in our wedding; our small local florist (who did our wedding flowers) had a hard time finding 50 carnations much less just pink ones so I have a beautiful mixed basket of "heavenly smelling" flowers!

Had such a fun evening celebrating our anniversary! My BFF and my sister and niece joined the family at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Fun time remembering our HOT August wedding, a really good cake for dessert and some awesome gifts! Both girls gave us cards with Mickey & Minnie on them! And, of course, as always...Katie kept us entertained!
