; thought it was over but just had a lightening strike 1.1 miles to our east and that thunder SCARED THE S*** OUT OF ME! ⛈ Was right in the middle of asking if this was in Epcot. 
Allie's graduation was "different" and very limited but so thankful her class had that instead of tonight's weather! Lightening in the area the entire time 
and they shortened everything but each student got to "walk"...IN THE RAIN! 
We watched online and stayed dry but those kids had to be soaked by the time they left the field. Wish we could have been there for BFF's granddaughter AND our soccer girls but DID get pictures of them from the computer. So, so, SO proud of our "adopted granddaughter", Cami. Many times during her education we never thought we'd see this day for her 
and now she's going on to play soccer in college!

Back again....BAD thunderstorm knocked out the computer and TV for awhile

AS I WAS SAYING....we're AT IT AGAIN! ⛈ 🌩🌧 2 inches in an hour....
MUCH TO OUR SURPRISE....they went ahead with the OUTDOOR graduation ceremony for the Class of 2021!
They literally walked off the field and THEN the real storm hit....high winds, hail, tornado's in the area. Boo was oblivious to it all....she was busy playing with her new bed!

; they had the auditorium (other classes have had graduations there) with video feed to the gym and the Fair Association offered their expo building too. They should have limited tickets (like they did for Allie's class) and done it indoors...OR started at 6 instead of 8. Poor decisions on Administration last night but it's done and thank God everyone's safe. I wouldn't have wanted my kid sitting out in the open with all that lightening and I wouldn't have wanted to be in the stands either! 
I bought Boo a new bed a few weeks ago and she's been "eyeing" it 
; she was so happy I finally put it down so she could play with it and crawled in it later after I had to fuss at her for eating tape the painters left on the floor! I was standing on the front porch and David was watching radar; he said there was a tornado symbol right over us! 🌪 The way the yard looks I believe it! All the instable air was from a cool front again...but....it's not very "cool" today. Sure is a beautiful day though. Sorry you had to cancel your Maine plans this weekend; summer just won't "arrive" in your area, will it!
