I laughed this afternoon when I was reading our local newspaper. The Editor writes a weekly "personal life article" called Sidlelines. It was almost like he saw our discussion here on "summer" after I posted a picture of my new garden flag...

His article was on "summer" and when it started for HIM. The quote that made me smile was, "The calendar says summer starts on June 20, but we know that's just for show, and it starts whenever we want it too." Then he went on to perfectly describe when "summer starts for him"....and it's already started.
