It is 9:00 PM and our heat index is STILL 100 degrees! Poor Boo could only stay out about 10 minutes before she started the heavy breathing and gasping for air! That tropical storm pulled a "heat ridge" toward us and instead of a little rain all we're getting is HEAT! Katie and her friend from dance have been in the pool over an hour already!

But it's not from the Barnstormer. It's not from Pete's Silly Sideshow either.

It's not from Frontierland or Fantasyland or Adventureland or the Carousel of Progress.

It was 39 here this morning. I love where I live. We have been having the best weather. I don't need heat or a/c and I love the low humidity. I'm sorry glad I am lucky enough to live here.

My Disney friend in Colorado has lower 40 temperatures too this morning...with rain! Nice and cool but, after all, it IS "summertime"; I'd be more than a little unhappy if we had those low temperatures. For one thing...our garden would be dead or dying ; we, FOR SURE, wouldn't be enjoying the pool and David would still be cutting firewood instead of mowing the lawn! I think we'll take these blistering hot temperatures with a smile; I like a little variety and we can always lower the temp on the AC (which has been done! ). Hope it warms up for you and hope it's not that cool on the east coast so Diane can get HER pool open!
