The sunset pictures are beautiful.

It was what I was most looking forward too! I LOVE sunsets and I just couldn't imagine the GC sunset being anything but spectacular! We had 2 stops before the sun dropped behind the horizon; both were pretty awesome. Bill said he was expecting a "nice show" because of the conditions of the day beginning with the fog and clouds and he was right. The canyon colors were amazing. There was one little overlook I SO wanted to go down to but just couldn't bring myself to do it! I'm NOT a "rock climber" and the path to it was treacherous; to get to the spot I WAS at, I needed to hold on to the railing and, in one spot, sit down and "scoot" down! Needless to say, the girls thought that was F-U-N-N-Y and I'm sure the pictures they took are all over Instagram!

Well they just closed our school district until the 30th. But I still have to go in. Not sure what the heck I'm supposed to do, I do attendance and discipline. No kids no attendance or discipline. I guess we'll find out Monday.

I thought it might only be a matter of time but, like you, I don't know why you need to go in . And besides...this virus has been effecting OLDER people, not kids...your office is full of "older people"! That's the same timetable we're on, returning to classes March 30...HOPEFULLY! Just got a message from Sara that the dance competition scheduled on the 27-29th has been postponed but at least they didn't cancel it! David DID find some toilet paper this morning at one of the smaller chain grocery stores in our area and they're limiting to 2 packages a trip so we should be set until all this panic buying is done. I did see a very good comment on a Facebook post..."at least this has forced people to have a 2 week "disaster kit" ready (like we ALL should have done by now) for the upcoming hurricane season!" I told David I hate to even go out in public right now ; oak and cedar pollen counts have skyrocketed into the thousands and my allergies are really, REALLY bad . I cough and cough and I don't want people thinking I have the stupid stuff! Allergies even bothered me in the GC (cedar trees were pollinating there); it's going to be a LONG spring for me!

That's pretty cool, isn't it! Sara's excited that now they'll actually KNOW someone in NYC for the next time they visit! She told Allie about a month ago she probably wouldn't be back at BHS (and to play soccer) but nothing was final. They'll miss her next year on the soccer field and we'll miss her family; very fun and likable people.
