They are pretty good about keeping the main road plowed. Side roads aren't as good, they don't keep up with them as much.

Good news...our friends have safely arrived in Florida; bad news...a bus carrying band members from the Channelview School District had an accident in Alabama returning from DW. 13-14 students injured; bus driver killed. DD heard that this morning and immediately called Lacey to check on her progress. She'd JUST pulled into their hotel after driving 13 hours and she said she couldn't last ANOTHER MINUTE behind the wheel. I now have another vote in the "flying only" column when it comes to driving from Texas to Florida!

I saw the coast of MA on the news, they are getting pounded. There were spots in MA that were getting 4 inches an hour. We don't have winds like that, not yet anyway. The snow has picked up and is really heavy right now.

I'm shivering just watching the Weather Channel live from MA! It's unbelievable . I'm pretty sure I'll NEVER see Redstorm in her meteorologist role doing THOSE reports! Did I hear them say the European models show a possibility of yet ANOTHER storm NEXT WEEK? I certainly hope I misunderstood that! Hoping you don't get those awful winds that are taking down the power lines along with the wet snow! One town had 80% of the citizens without power. Keeping you in our thoughts...stay safe!
