I told DD I thought there might be "tired faces" since it was so late last night before they arrived but DUH...they're at DW ...they won't be tired until they get back home!

Waiting for DH to retire before we try to make a trip back plus...we have our beach vacation scheduled later this month. Full schedule with the dance competitions but we'll be on "the island" and already have lunch & dinner dates lined up with a friend that lives there and another that has a weekend beach house. I'm missing DW tremendously but also looking forward to an afternoon on Galveston's The Strand and FRESH SEAFOOD!

... that was at 7 AM after arriving at the WL at midnight. They called me at lunch while on the way back to the lodge for a nap! Disney Springs this afternoon and Hollywood Studios for the Star Wars fireworks tonight. Son-in-law will arrive this evening; same flight schedule as they had yesterday so he'll get there around midnight too then off to the AK tomorrow. Hot~hot and hotter but the same way here so that's not bothering them a whole lot. We have a heat index of 107 right now !

Okay...end the torture...the clue in the top right hand corner is a leaf and a couple of bare branches; this "thing in nature" that's unique to the Animal Kingdom is the

SAUSAGE TREE...

No wonder I couldnt get it. I have a picture of this tree, and the elephants are not there! I knew the location, because of the building in the background, but the elephants threw me off. Thank god that one is over, lol.

I'm actually enjoying the peace and quiet. Just got off the phone with the Princess...she and Redstorm went to the room while DD got drinks and snacks after the MK the morning and their MagicBands didn't work for them to get in the room. They went to the front desk to get them fixed and they gave them fastpasses for Toy Story AND Fantasmic!

I'm afraid it's going to get worse too; another officer was shot in the neck today during a traffic stop. Didn't hear where but Dallas is hurting today. Final total was 5 dead and 7 injured.

LUCKY ; we'd give ANYTHING for a 72 degree day with rain. Actual temp now is 97...to hot out there to even go out to the pool. But I'm get ready to "sunscreen up" and brave it!

Temps down to 60 had to close the windows. The pool was just starting to get warm pool temp yesterday was 78.

I was actually thinking about that today and wondering if he was still going in that direction. A HARD decision now a days. The really sad thing is the rally the officers were protecting was surprisingly peaceful and they were in the last half-block of their march when that animal ambushed the officers. Niece's boyfriend has been in law enforcement a few years and wouldn't trade it for anything. Really sad day yesterday. In a neighboring town, a waste disposal truck driver had forgotten to put the "arms" down that are used to pick up trashcans. He was traveling down Hwy. 36 and the arms hit an overhead bridge. The concrete fell on another car passing under the bridge crushing the front seat area. A 12 year old girl died; her mother was Life Flighted to Houston and is in critical condition.

Sounds like Heaven! But darn it...pool WAS warming up nicely...at least 78 was "swimmable"! Our water is 86!
