I realize the doctors and nurses are stressed but rudeness is NOT called for! John had a ******* doctor too! Bless her heart; hope they were able to find someway to help her! I'm with Andy...FURIOUS that she was treated that way! Our neighbor down the street tested positive too; he's locked in his house! Your poor aunt! I'd have never taken the vaccine if I were allergic to sulfur but I'm sure she felt pressured like the rest of us are/were. We do get the flu shot and I understand that yearly thing....there are different types of flu ever season. I'm afraid you're right though; this will be treated the same way....every new kind will require a new vaccination!

I'm sure you've all read WDW is getting rid of Fastpass+ forever and going to a paid "Fastpass" system.

It was her aunt that died. She was saying that to the rude nurse. Not sure why she got the vaccine maybe she didn't know.

So sad. And who do you turn too? Vaccinated or not, the medical personnel are so stressed they treat you like **** when you have to go to them for help. Really thankful for my personal medical providers and just hope IF we ever need them they'll answer their cell phones and meet us at the hospital! I keep their personal numbers in my wallet and on my phone! Sure hope she gets better; don't think I've known anyone with the stomach issues.

Decided I'd better catch up with the rest of the news going on in the world and I must say "ignorance IS bliss". OMG what an awful mess in Afghanistan. Those poor people...especially the ones that helped us! Totally abandoned by our leaders. The son of one of our friends left yesterday for Army basic training; I feel like he picked the absolute worst time EVER to decide to join. He graduated with Allie and took last year "off" to help his Dad get their new business up and running. He finally decided around the first of the year he wanted to go in the military. I can't imagine how his Mom and Dad feel now; could really see the worry on "Dad's face" in the Facebook pictures they posted. ☹ Watched an hour of the news and put a Hallmark Christmas movie on!

Barbados was the next one on my list! That's such a pretty resort; I really enjoyed our stay there with the exception of the LONG walk to the main area! A bridge across that lake would be most helpful!

I can't believe they are doing this. I guess they have to recoup the money they lost from covid. Genie+ where you have Lightning Lane access to 40 attractions you can choose from. It costs 15.00 per day per person. So 60.00 for a family of 4 per day on top of the money spent on tickets. You can't select until the day of and only one at a time. This might be beneficial at the MK because it has the most rides. Then they have individual attractions not included in the Genie+ attractions that you can purchase separately and go in the Lightning Lane. But I did read that ROTR and the new Remy ride may be included in this group and no price is available yet. We get a lot done at rope drop but I think I would use it for attractions we do later in the day that have a long wait. There's no way I'm standing in line for hours.

Also they are introducing Extended Evening Hours but they are only available to DELUXE RESORT GUESTS ONLY.

Yep ... getting worse and worse. I did read the details on Facebook earlier. That's an extra $200 charge for David and I per trip. A LOT of comments from people saying they had trips booked but it would probably be the last trip they'd take; everyone is getting TIRED of the "nickel and diming" they're doing. Wish I remembered the figure but the last report I heard the profits were UP...by a LOT! David even commented on it! I guess I could understand if they were still loosing money but they're NOT. Sounds like we're all paying for those "new 50 Year Celebration" PERKS! They're pricing more and more people out of the parks; for a family of 4 it's getting REALLY expensive! And yes...Extended Evening Hours...read that earlier this summer; the average guest can no longer AFFORD the deluxe resorts so we book moderates or values and we're left out.

A LOT of comments from people saying they had trips booked but it would probably be the last trip they'd take; everyone is getting TIRED of the "nickel and diming" they're doing. I priced tickets and if we went now we would pay 400 more than last time we went plus another 540 if we did the stupid Genie + thing every day plus more money for the rides not included. I read the new Remy ride is going to be virtual queue or pay to ride only. What about all the people who don't have smart phones. Plus the room priced went up so much.
