No volleyball tonight...visiting team didn't have a freshman team so we're all rested for a LONG day tomorrow in the Katy area. Tournament with 5A schools ...should have some GOOD competition! Football team played a 5A team tonight and got crushed ; it was expected but Coach Rowe loves playing these tough games in the "pre-season"!

L-O-N-G day...left at 9:15 this morning; returned 10:15 this evening. But what an exciting tournament! Didn't start off the way we'd hoped...they finally lost a GAME 20-25 but they got their act together and won the match with 25-23 and 25-15 wins and it was clear sailing the rest of the day. They had one other 25-23 win but "knocked it out of the park" with the other games to earn the Championship Trophy! We were "instructed" to be "loud and proud" for the championship game...I think we embarrassed them a little...but we WERE "loud and proud"....great job today against those 5A schools!

DS and I hopped over to Disney today to do some pin trading, but stopped at DS for lunch first. Stayed in the new section, had lunch at the new pizza place. It was very good, it's sort of like a "Subway" for pizza. You build your own with whatever you want, very good! Then we headed over to the new Coke store, the roof top is really nice and I recommend the float sampler, yum! Wish I would of thought to look for your crop, lol. After lunch and dessert headed over to MK. I could not believe how empty the parking lot and transportation center were. The park was not crowded at all. Except for the heat, great day to be at the park.

Yes, I know how lucky we are, I just have to keep reminding my son. Husband is out of town and I was tired of sitting in the house, so I asked my son if he wanted to go, he basically rolled his eyes and said "again", lol, He is 19, so he just doesn't get it, guess he did not get my Disney gene. I bribe him with lunch and dessert and he will humor me and go.
