She's getting frustrated filling out the applications! They take WAY to long! Soccer coaches from the University of Arkansas and another college in Missouri (can't remember which one) have requested applications and visits. The one she worked on today basically locks in her soccer recruitment; she really didn't want to do that until she visited MIT but the coach was putting pressure on her. A&M is her top first choice for academics but if the visit to MIT is promising for soccer that will become her TOP choice for academics AND soccer. Since A&M is a State school, with her ranking in her class, she's automatically accepted but she really, REALLY wants to play soccer and there's no room for her on their soccer team. (Don't know if I ever told you but former Dallas Cowboy Emmitt Smith's daughter plays for the A&M soccer team AND his son is considering the school for football! Would be SO cool having her for a teammate!) I just don't want her to go to school SO far away from home...BUT...I could come visit YOU when we'd fly to Boston for games! ✈

We both did Soarin' after rope drop that morning; that was our first day there! That just worked out perfectly that morning but then the dang rain messed up our afternoon meet in Germany. We were all SOAKED and so ready to go back and change into dry clothes after we ate at Teppan Edo's! My family wouldn't disown me...they'd just make me feel GUILTY AS HELL for going without them ...especially Katie! She's a "true actress" and can "put on that long, sad, crying face" that makes you want to give her ANYTHING she asks for!

I love Emmit Smith how cool would that be seeing him at the soccer games. Boston is so far away and the climate change would be a real shocker for her winters are brutal. If she does end up going there it would be cool to visit with you when you visit Boston. We are only an hour away.

EXACTLY! I keep thinking back to that game she got frost nip ...but at least the games would be in the EARLY fall! She's certainly played in COLD games here but the "dead of winter" and getting to classes...! If it's meant to be; it's meant to be...she believes the Good Lord has a plan for her and she'll deal with whatever path she ends up on...BUT...it WOULD give us the perfect excuse visit! It would be SO cool seeing Emmit at the soccer games ; I'm sure if she does end up at A&M on academics only we'll be attending the soccer games even if she's NOT playing!

I cant think of any other attractions in Frontierland except BigThunder Mtn and you already eliminated that. Is on a parade float going thru Frontierland?

lol I am tempted but have to save for this WD trip and then the next trip for the 50th with the whole family that one if going to be mega $$$ because we will not be using points for flights and we will also be helping to pay for a few people to so they can come

EARTHQUAKES ... not crazy about going to Las Vegas but damn sure staying out of California! Honestly though...VERY surprised about the lack of crowds...could it be that Disney is finally "out pricing" themselves...?
