Yes Sir, this is from a park. :tink:
Attraction?

This amount is unusual...and to think, a couple years ago we were in the middle of a severe drought! 100+ temps every day and forest fires ALL over the State. Last Memorial Day weekend was this way also; Houston had 20+" in less than 24 hours. Our power was out and the only way I could keep in touch was text message with Ed. He was even giving me weather reports :rotfl2:...EVERYTHING was "down". Our county had a tremendous flood about 3-4 weeks ago so this is the 2nd time this spring we're experiencing this. :tink:

The WITW News Desk follows the official Hurricane season :lmao:

That is a crazy amount of rain

Absolument!! pixiedust: The entry of L'Artisan des Glaces. Wish I was there now. Hehe.

I wish I were there now too! Looking forward to our "beach vacation" this year but sure am homesick for DW :headache:. I have vowed no trip this year but with each passing day that becomes harder and herder. :headache: :tink:

Thought we were going to have a really long "3 DAY WEEKEND JEFF" ... one without internet! :scared1: Weather related problems (which were discussed on the national FOX network and are even trending on Yahoo News!) gave us NO service until about an hour ago. pixiedust: Hooray for all the repairmen/women ... utility workers, telephone service employees, cable service, ROAD REPAIR (DH left at 6:15 this morning to get started), firefighters and police officers doing high water rescues...a whole bunch of Central Texas workers NOT getting a long weekend...or even time off for a hot meal this Memorial Day.

An example of what those workers are dealing with :scared::

Waiting for the location of this restroom on Discovery Island...and while I did not enter the "men's side" :rotfl:, I'm guessing the same decor appears there...:goodvibes. :tink:

I need to get off Facebook. These pictures are making my heart ache.

A sample of what DH and his crew are TRYING to deal with...this is from an area of our county that his boss is responsible for:

...and this one did it...I'm off Facebook for a few hours:

My sister just pulled these dogs out of the water at the creek on Bernardo Road in Colorado County. These are the best pictures she could get before her phone died. Please share and help find their owner.

I thought there was only one restroom on Discovery Island. On the right as you come out of the Oasis and enter into Discovery Island. Just before the Flame Tree Barbecue.

Sorry about your weather down there. Seems like you are always having weather problems. You've got Diane beat for the horrible weather award hands down. Poor dogs and no collars. :( Hope you don't lose your power. So your DH is back to work now? How much longer until he retires?
