Glad you will be heading "my" way next week. Just a warning the heat here has been unbearable. My great nephew had a mild heat stroke Sunday at HS. They were waiting in line for the Alien spin ride and he started complaining that he could not see, that everything was black and then he fainted. Luckily as soon as they got him out of the line and cooled him off he was fine. He was born and raised right here in central Fl, so used to the heat, but it even gets us natives. Drink lots of water and take lots of shade and A/C breaks. Hope you all have a great time. Wish I could meet up with you but we will be at the beach that week.

Glad to hear he was ok. The humidity with the heat really sucks. There are times that I get an ocean breeze to help a little.

Yeowzers! Where did that come from?!?! Attraction? My DD thinks it's at DHS at the Sci-Fi diner... but I've never been there myself.

Anyone heading down late August or during Jersey week? I'm stalking some friends of mine right now on their trip... wishing I was riding the MK mountains with them.

There is an Olympic distance triathlon in Lake Loiusa State Park on August 25 I am thinking about doing. This state park is south of Clermont FL. About a dozen miles northwest of Disney as the bird flies. After that event is finished it would be straight to the parks.

Ooooh!! Fun! That’s going to be a hot one with the heat & humidity. When I was a kid, I always ran faster in the heat. Probably because I just wanted it over & done with so that I can get back in the AC’d car!! We’ll be back home by the 25th. We’re taking the DD, D.Niece & D.Grand-Nephew this time. Can’t wait to see the DGN’s face as he experiences all that WDW has to offer.

Wish we were but we'll be beginning the 3 times a week volleyball games by then! Which is why we're headed that direction next week...the only week of the summer and school year BOTH DGD's were free.
