Where In The World #20

Is it like the "sausage" trees at AK?

Good thought but think some more. :scratchin The other crop I had of this same type of tree was from the Living With The Land greenhouses...:scratchin. :tink:

That's PERFECT! Can't wait to see the pictures. What was your time today? I think I'd have wanted to do the half marathon FIRST! :rotfl: So, no "party time" tonight, right? You have to save your celebration for TOMORROW night. :thumbsup2 Redstorm's first track meet is this Thursday; we'll see how "in shape" she is after a long break from running. Should be nice weather too; this track meet last year was FREEZING...literally! :cold: DH and I had to go to the car and turn the heater on between events. Shouldn't be as bad this time so looking "forward" :faint: to a long afternoon/evening at the track. GOOD LUCK tomorrow! :tink:

The time was not fast but the plan all along was to have a fantastic weekend with my Daughter. It has exceeded that.

Party time was playing in the MK all day today. We broke the rule that you should stay off of your feet as much as you can before big runs. Only got back in the room maybe 40 minutes ago. Alarms go off less than 5 hours from now. I will sleep on Monday when I get back home.

:thumbsup2 That's exactly the "policy" I adopt when I'm at DW...I can SLEEP when I get back home! There's nothing better than being at DW with your daughter, is it? :lovestrucSleep well and looking forward to your checking in tomorrow. :tink:

Around 10:15 this evening, my BFF's daughter and good friend of DD's had a knock on her door (she lives in a rural area with her teenage children)...there stands a 30ish year old Hispanic male asking to use her phone...his "truck broke down". Once he realized Becky had a Smith and Wesson pistol strapped to her hip he took off running, jumped in the passenger side of a truck at the end of her driveway and "rapidly" left the scene. :rolleyes1 Truck got fixed pretty fast when he realized she was "locked and loaded"...THANK GOODNESS! :scared: :rotfl2::tink:

At first I thought, maybe squash blossoms, but you say it's a tree, which means some type of fruit. No Clue. More hints.....PLEASE. Are these the actual fruit, or closed flowers of the tree?

You're thinking in the right direction. These trees are abundant in the hub area entering Adventureland and in Adventureland...but I never really noticed that until this year. This is a fruit and, I'm going to say the actual fruit develops from these blossoms but fruit/vegetable "growth" has always amazed me so not 100% sure. I always wonder "how" does that squash develop from that pretty flower? (Can you tell I hated any type of science or biology in school? :headache: Give me algebra and I'm a happy camper but those courses....:headache::headache::headache:!) This is a VERY common fruit...I have one almost every day and the kids playing athletics eat these a lot. :goodvibes :scratchin :tink:

Orange? Banana?

 That' scary. Funny about the gun, good for her. :thumbsup2 I never answer the door if I don't know who it is.

:rotfl2: I thought so too but I'm seriously considering getting my concealed carry license too; DH never leaves the house without "packing". Crime rate in our area keeps rising and 85% of the arrest are Hispanics...illegal immigrants are 75% of that! :headache: That's why you hear the rally cry BUILD THE WALL so loud from Texas. Our border with Mexico is 1,254 miles long and we deal with the illegal immigrants on a daily basis. DH has a good friend from his contractor days who's a marvelous painter; he's seen his business drop tremendously over the past few years. He speaks louder than any of us on the issue; he's Hispanic but obtained his Citizenship. That's our position; not against immigration just do it the RIGHT way. Okay...:offtopic:...off my soapbox, I'm just SO glad Becky had the good sense to make it known she was armed. She's very cautious but, as the mother of 2 teenagers, it's not unusual to hear a knock on her door at 10 PM. The bottom line is, how did his disabled vehicle suddenly become a "get away truck" if he did not have ill intentions? So thankful Becky and the kids are okay. :goodvibes :tink:

Orange? Banana?

I am going to second the banana. I know it's not an orange tree, as we have those everywhere where I live.

:jumping1: ... and the BANANA it is! Anyone remember this crop from the greenhouse?

...my first "lesson" on "where do bananas come from" :rotfl2: ... so when I saw this plant behind a sitting area I said to myself..."PERFECT crop for WITW"! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Good job with the questions; teamwork did the trick again! :thumbsup2 :tink:
