The Panthers finally lost last week, to split reactions from my friends. Most seem to be behind them, but there are some that just don't like Cam Newton. I'm happy I have cable again, so I can watch my Duke Blue Devils

Tuesday we're actually having a Disney event in my office! So it makes work a little more bearable. Then Thursday we drop Belle at the vet for boarding, and it's off to LAX! The good news is I've checked the weather and it looks like this week is all clear in Boston, so hopefully we're all clear for our flights!!!!

Tuesday we're actually having a Disney event in my office! So it makes work a little more bearable. Then Thursday we drop Belle at the vet for boarding, and it's off to LAX! The good news is I've checked the weather and it looks like this week is all clear in Boston, so hopefully we're all clear for our flights!!!!

Sounds like you're free and clear for a few days away! You can't call it "work" if it involves a "Disney event"! I'll be watching the Panthers progress too; Cam Newton played Jr. College football in a small city 20 miles to our north. We've seen his "name in the newspaper" more than once. Glad you're able to follow the Blue Devils on TV now too; boring time of the year for me. After the Super Bowl, I rarely watch ANY sports on TV....at least until it gets close to the College World Series and/or playoffs for the Rangers or Astros. No basketball, no baseball, no golf...guess I'll have to look for some soccer matches! Have a safe, relaxing, fun trip!

Here's one to finish out the weekend...and the Holiday Season . Took the ornaments out of one of my trees today but couldn't get much else done outside. Beautiful day and I thought I was done with this "cold/body aches, etc."; felt great until about 3 PM and "hit a brick wall" again . Not in a hurry to get the decorations down other than avoiding the rain again. I'm sure we'll be going through rainy days and then needing days to dry out again before it's all done.

I hope so or the playoff season will be short for you too! Our tree will stay up at least until the end of the week or a rainy spell...whichever comes first. We like to keep ours up until Epiphany, January 6th...old German/Lutheran Church tradition. Unless...it's wet outside and we can't get the outdoor decorations down until the following week.
