I think it's standard procedure for coaches but the kids LOVE those classes! My nephew is a Jr. High coach and he makes Texas History SO interesting...even dresses up as a pioneer at times. His students love it and they're grades show it! That was nice that you stayed extra and shouldn't have been to bad since the boss lady wasn't there. Snowing yet?

I'll start with Fantasyland? It's been a mixture of snow and sleet all day. Plus it's freezing out so everything is freezing. The high school hockey alumni game is tonight 9:30-10:30. Stupid time but ice time is limited so they have to use practice ice.

What a mess! Anytime you add sleet it's not good. My cousin's son and his family had weather problems getting home from Colorado. Our elderly friend's ... his Dad's father ... funeral is tomorrow. His wife said they had to "pull all kinds of strings" to get a flight out. "Tis the season"... thinking about Annie and her trip to DL and having to go through Boston! Hope your roads stay passable. I love alumni games; should be fun even if it is later!

At least down here we've had unseasonable warm weather. I was wearing shorts on Christmas Day. It is starting to cool off, dropping into the 50s this weekend. Only 8 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

At least down here we've had unseasonable warm weather. I was wearing shorts on Christmas Day. It is starting to cool off, dropping into the 50s this weekend. Only 8 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

It was like that here on Christmas Day...record high of 83 ! The rain/cool weather started Saturday and it's been "winterlike" since then...thank goodness! I did NOT like having the AC running on Christmas Day. Hope it holds out for you...especially in Boston. My Godson said they had hell getting a flight home from Colorado...a nightmare for them more so since they HAD to be here today for his grandfather's funeral. Counting the days down with you!

I did NOT like having the AC running on Christmas Day. Hope it holds out for you...especially in Boston. My Godson said they had hell getting a flight home from Colorado...a nightmare for them more so since they HAD to be here today for his grandfather's funeral. Counting the days down with you!

Yesterday I received an e-mail that our hotel reservation had been CANCELED (at no penalty to us, gee, thanks) because the hotel would not be open in time. I called and the front desk supervisor said "Yes, we wanted to let people know as soon as possible so they could make other arrangesments." You call 9 days SOON? Ugh. After a mini freak-out, it actually turned out for the better because I was able to get a TA rate at the Fairfield Inn right across the street, which was our first choice anyway. But still.

I'm just in a slump. Through this holiday season, I just haven't been feeling it. Work is driving me crazy, and my manager has decided to start micromanaging. I am SO ready to get out of here.

Yay! Disneyland! Have you been there before? You are smart to go now because they are going to totally tear it up this year to put in Starwars Land. Be sure to see the Aladdin Show if it's still there. It's such a good show and they are getting rid of it and going to do Frozen instead.

Yay! Disneyland! Have you been there before? You are smart to go now because they are going to totally tear it up this year to put in Starwars Land. Be sure to see the Aladdin Show if it's still there. It's such a good show and they are getting rid of it and going to do Frozen instead.

We'll be there 2 days before it all closes, so the first day (Friday the 8th) is focused on getting all the stuff that's going down. And Aladdin. Saturday the 9th I have reservations at Blue Bayou with the Fantasmic package for my birthday. The 10th we're doing the lunch package for WOC, which I am super stoked to finally see!!!!! Then the last day our flight doesn't leave until 11:59pm, so we'll hit anything we missed/things we want to do again
