Great minds Jeff...I was thinking about that this afternoon. I ALWAYS look at the diamond castle on every trip and imagined myself getting it through security at the airport!

No confirmation yet, but excited to think it may be true for one of my "band kids". I don't follow the lottery except, like him, during the high dollar jackpots so neither of us know much about the "numbers" but followed this on Facebook last night after the lottery numbers were announced:

   This young man was in DD's class during school so I've "followed" him for many years; got him out of more than one "scrape" too; my favorite being setting off fireworks in the Band Hall after the Spring Concert his/their Senior year. His Mama and I spent the last few hours before graduation begging those in charge to let him "walk" during the ceremony. I talk with him every week during football season as we're both huge football fans and avid Cowboys & Aggies fans. Absolutely thrilled for the possibility of an extra $50,000 in his bank account!

... and Ed & Jeff won the "solve the eye crop" lottery! That awful, creepy, disgusting eye is from Tracey Tree in the Rainforest Cafe in DS. That's one scary face ! (Just heard on the radio there's ALREADY a hurricane in the Atlantic ! No chance of it hitting the US coast but hope Ed doesn't win the "hurricane lottery" this year since it's starting so early! )

Still waiting for him to confirm. Since I know NOTHING about how that stuff is figured out, I have no idea if he's actually a winner. Sure hope so...he's turned into a fine, productive young adult and has done well after graduating college. Very proud of him and he and his Mama deserve it ; they've both worked hard to make a better life for themselves. Yes...Diane is correct...3 winners from California, Tennessee and Florida...WOW! Sorry my numbers didn't come up ; if they would have we'd ALL be planning a trip to DW (expenses paid for by GOOPY) for a WITW get together with BALLOON RIDES for all of us!
