Well...I checked the 2014 menu and there's nothing listed as being served in a bread bowl so I'm clueless. It doesn't look like something I'd try ...some kind of fish?

Bingo! It's snails from France! Jason and I figured we would never, ever have the chance to eat snails again so we tried them. The bread bowls were good and the snails sort of tasted like mushrooms.



Now that I've tried them, I never have to do that again!

DH is correct! The Sheriff was right in front of me and HE even said "ouch"! My arm is SO sore and I'm off now to one of our local gift shops to help set up their Snow Village! May not last long today...don't want to handle that expensive stuff when my arm is hurting!
