I am glad you had a great time. I really wish i was able to get up that way and meet you.

I had the Indy Race on and was away from the TV when the incident happened. Did see the replay and you knew that it was instant. That nose piece flew well into the air. Lets just say that in working at a motor sports park there are things you wish you didn't have to see.

Prayers for all of Justin's family and friends. Prayers also to all of the safety personnel that responded to the site. Not something that one wants to talk about.

I heard about the Indy car driver. Really sad. I used to watch NASCAR a lot until Dale was killed. He was my favorite driver and watching that was the worst. Haven't watched any racing since.

I read about Paula Deen being on DWTS. There's a thread on the Community Board. I watched Astronaut Wives for a bit but couldn't really get into it. I like Mistresses it's on after. Is this a current ABC show?

Even had DH interested in Astronaut Wives; we thought it moved too fast. A LOT of history skipped over...but then, we're all "space nuts". One of DD's high school friends is a NASA scientist...she even went through the astronaut program. She's had numerous experiments "in space" and visiting with her is fascinating!

Yes, this is a current show...it's been on the air a l-o-n-g time!

Yes i will. With the current forcast Erika is to be a Cat 1 hurricane at landfall. The forecast models has me in the "dead center of the room" err bullseye for Monday. Should start feeling the outer part Sunday. I will be outside watching it all blow over. Might even be in the pool floating on the raft.

Wow Ed! Be safe. Looks like we all have weather events except Jeff! I might get some RAIN this weekend! Just hope there's no lightening…...

I don't know where we are with the crops. Ed, do we know where yours is? Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Main St. the castle?

Maybe the rain will actually cool your water temp down a little so you can once again ENJOY a swim and not a "hot tub event". Should be a "nice day" to put that umbrella hat on and enjoy watching the clouds swirl!

Rain would be good but the lightening and wind threat might outweigh that benefit! Just finished reading your shared article on Facebook...30 mph winds possible and blowing from the south ...that spells "trouble" for your area! Might be another long weekend for you!
