Read an article in the Houston Chronicle today about the Farmer's Almanac's prediction for the Super Bowl, which (I think is really STUPID) is being held in MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands in New Jersey. The Almanac says it will be known as the "Storm Bowl" using words like "piercing cold" and "bitterly cold" and predicting a winter storm will hit in the Northeast around that time. The article goes on to say, "It predicts a colder-than-normal winter for two-thirds of the country and HEAVY SNOWFALL in the Midwest, Great Lakes and NEW ENGLAND". ARE YOU READY FOR THAT after last year???

I can't believe they are having the Super Bowl in a "cold weather" stadium. I am NOT ready for another winter of heavy snow.

What is this?

I can't believe they are having the Super Bowl in a "cold weather" stadium. I am NOT ready for another winter of heavy snow.

Isn't that stupid??? At least pick one that has a roof on it! Somebody "greased some hands" with that! Gee...what if Miami or Arizona end up there...talk about extremes for those teams!

I know...I keep thinking about the '67 ICE BOWL between Dallas and Green Bay! Oh well...should make for an interesting game and I love watching the "snow games"!
