HAS ANYONE SEEN DGD'S GLASSES??? :lmao: We've spent the last 2 HOURS looking for those suckers! :crazy2:

Diane and I are right there with you Jeff! :sad1: :tink:

I've been really board at work this week so I've been pricing all the different resorts and looking at photos. I really want the Poly but it's just way too pricy now.:sad1: It's hard to believe the price is over 200.00 more a night than our last trip.:sad2: Leaning toward WL (if I get a pin code)or CSR. Can't decide. I really need a full time job this part time thing is not enought to save anything. I've decided that if I don't find a full time job, after summer I'm going to look for a second part time job so I can save for Disney.

I've had this note on my note board for weeks, meaning to post it for you. :rotfl: Recently read an article about the monorail resorts. The article stated that when the Poly opened (I think it was in 1971...someone correct me if that's wrong) rooms went for $29~$36~$44 PER NIGHT, depending on which floor you stayed on! :rotfl2:! :tink:

PS...I'd try for WL!

No help on the glasses from this front, but for the picture, is it a Christmas decoration?

Please keep searching for the glasses :rotfl2:...this is driving me CRAZIER than normal...especially with "little Miss Bundle of Energy" spending the night here! :faint: At least Redstorm doesn't need the glasses to play soccer tomorrow! :rotfl2:

Not a Christmas decoration and not a flag. It IS a costume. :thumbsup2 :tink:

I think they should have "roll back prices":rotfl2::rotfl2: Back then that was expensive. I remember going to Disney growing up we stayed off site. :sad2:I couldn't imagine doing that now. It's not Disney unless you stay on site.

Something like that. Stayed there a couple of times back then. I can tell you the last time i stayed in the Contemporary Tower MK veiw the rooms were 62.50 a night. I think i still have the receipt along with the check in folder that they gave at the time.

IF I could get there I'll be GLAD to hang out late with you...my "normal" bedtime is between 1:30 & 2:00! :rotfl:

That was the year we got married...all I remember is our rent was $75 a month! :faint: Our first trip was in 1978; we stayed at the Howard Johnson in the DTD area. The only other time we stayed offsite, we rented a 4 bedroom house. Two other couples were suppose to go with us but backed out! There were 5 of us in that HUGE house! :rotfl:

I came across an old receipt not to long ago; don't remember exactly where it was but room rate was $47.40 a night! :goodvibes Maybe Caribbean Beach ...???

no trip this year is we end up buying a place :(

I thought you and your family were going on "Mom's dime" or is that next year? :tink:
