Where In The (Disney) World Can I Find A Monte Cristo Sandwich?

if you are familliar w/Disneyland you know just how wonderful the Monte Cristo is at the Blue Bayou....

anywhere you can suggest that has delicious ones in WDW ??

I'm fairly certain you can't find the identical sandwich at WDW. Maybe something close, but not identical. They sure are good though.

I don't know of anyplace in WDW that serves Monte Cristos.

Me too, me too.....this was my most favoritist (btw, that is a word) meal in Disneyland last year, my mouth is still watering thinking about it! Wouldn't it be amazing if we could find one in the World!

Apparently nowhere! There used to be a place in the MK years ago called the Hospitality House that had them but its gone. Olivia's at OKW used to have them but took them off the menu. Got this off allearsnet when I did a "Monte Cristo" search. Too bad, there is nothing like a deep fried sandwich, dusted with powder sugar and served with a side of jelly to let you know life is good! Disneyland actually serves them at two places now, Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans. Cafe Orleans has two varieties, the original with ham and turkey and a three cheese one. When I go next month I will get one and think of you RalphMouth!

P.S. Bennigan's a rather lackluster chain has them. Can you tell I love my Monte Cristo's?

They also used to serve them at the Columbia Harbor House. They took them off the menu years ago. Too bad.

Hey I just noticed you live in Colorado too! Do you have a Rosie's Diner anywhere near you? We do (Aurora), not sure if its a chain though. In any case, they have a really good one, its the closest I have gotten to Blue Bayou quality outside Disneyland!
