Where in Epcot is a good place for seafood??? I have a ressie at the Coral Reef, but after looking at the menu, I'm not really too excited! They have a nice fish selection, but I was thinking shrimp, crab, scallops...Yum!!! Any suggestions??

Cape May Buffet but dinner ressies are hard to come by.

We've never had a real hard time getting a ressie here but we go in Jan so maybe it's just easier then. Also if the OP tries to make either a reservation either earlier or later than the usual dining time they might have good luck.

Also, while there aren't a lot of choices at Teppan Edo, I found the shrimp and scallops nice and fresh. That might be another option.

It's too bad a place named Coral Reef isn't a super top notch seafood restaurant! LOL

Its a lot harder now.We eat there 1-2 times a trip and ever since they put the crab legs back on the buffet getting an adr during our trip is not easy anymore( and we usually are staying at the BCV).We had one choice our entire trip for an 830pm dinner for 4.

In Epcot? Umm, no where else has a seafood selection other than the occasional fish dish. Unless you count the restaurants in the Japan pavilion, but I get the impression you meant more American style preparations.

If you want a selection of seafood, and Coral Reef doesn't do it for you, then you'll have to venture outside Epcot.

I agree with cbg1207. If you want seafood then go somewhere else on or off Disney property.

You might just go on allears.net or wdwinfo.com and start reading menus...lots of fish choices out there. Flying Fish at Boardwalk (very pricy restaurant/2 TS credits per person if on dining plan) and Cape May buffet at the Beach Club (easy to get to from Epcot)

Virtually all of the restaurants have at least one fish dish on their menus...even San Angel Inn in Mexico pavillion has fish dish (my son ordered it in September and really liked it...think it was mahi-mahi) Captain's Grill at Yacht Club is another option - steak & seafood on the menu, as well as Kouzzina at Boardwalk if you like Greek food.

bluezoo has the best seafood on Disney property. Flying Fish has more fish but their scallop entree is very good.

Oh gosh I forgot about that so yeah, I imagine it's a lot harder to get reservations than before.

OP, what about leaving Epcot and heading to Fulton's Crab House in DTD?? If you're wanting seafood you'll definitely find a wide selection here!

Leave the park and walk over to Flying Fish or Bluezoo. Or even Kouzzina if you think you'd like a whole fish.

Le Cellier has awesome mussels.

We have had AWESOME seafood dishes at Chef's De France. Think this gem is overlooked many times. No where have I EVER had scallops done as well as Chef's.

If you are willing to leave the park as others have suggested, I would hop the monorail to the Poly, and check out some of the delicious seafood dishes at Kona.

ICK TO CORAL REEF. Seriously, yuck. We went on 9/4. The food LOOKED GOOD. The fish was cooked perfectly. What ruined it were the sauces and the seasoning. I had the swordfish and risotto w/truffle oil. The fish was cooked perfectly but it was completely over-salted, and it was sitting on a bed of really really salty risotto. I tried to eat it but it was SO salty I started to feel sick. I really tried to eat it, because the fish itself was good quality and flaky. DH ordered the halibut. It sat on a bed of grain and it was overseasoned with some type of unidentifiable red sauce. It was really just a shame to waste such good quality fish (which was cooked perfectly) on horrible seasoning. We didn't bother complaining because DD was starting to cry from being up past her bed time. You couldn't pay me to eat there again, even though the interior of the restaurant was so lovely.
