Where have you pool hopped to?

We've pool hopped to the Poly or WL & then enjoyed the electrical lights parade or fireworks from the beach.

We did this at the Poly as well.

When we stayed at the Boardwalk, we pool hopped at Beach Clubs pool Stormalong Bay. This was October 2006, and had no problem just walking in - no one checked us. An amazing pool. Normally we just hang at our resort, as we have enjoyed all the pools so far

It is an amazing pool, but it IS blacked out - they hand out wristbands and regularly throw out hoppers. You got lucky to not get checked.

Wow. It is definitely not like that anymore. We have been at this resort several times in the past year to eat, walk around, etc, and they are ALWAYS checking IDS and putting the wristbands on. They don't let anyone slide anymore.

We have pool hopped a couple of times to WL pool at night. It is very beautifully lit after dark.

I've pool hopped to the boardwalk, the Poly, WL and the GF. I adore pool hopping, I think its one of the best perks of being a DVC member.

DH and I love pool hopping to the GF the best, we have our whole GF day, where we lounge by the pool in the morning, have lunch at the GF cafe, then have a massage at the spa, then head over to the MK for dinner and Wishes. It usually ends up being our favorite day during our vacation!

That sounds like a perfect day to me! I just might have to do exactly as you describe if DH ever get the chance to go to WDW again without our kids.

We have pool hopped to WL and spent a day there. We went swimming, rented water craft and had lunch. It was a nice relaxing day.

Here's the pool hopping info from the DVC site:
You and any Guests staying with you at Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Beach Club Villas or Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are permitted to use other Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools (in addition to the pool at the Resort hotel at which you're staying) if they are not at capacity.

If the pool you are visiting reaches capacity, you may be asked to leave in order to accommodate Guests of that Resort hotel. Please check with a Host/Hostess at the Front Desk of the Resort hotel you wish to visit to find out about pool-access availability. You must present your current "Key to the World" card with your Disney Vacation Club "Member" designation on it to use other Resort hotel pools. Pool hopping is not available at Uzima Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts or at the leisure pools of these two Resort hotels. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Resort hotel pools may become unavailable from time to time because of capacity limitations. Due to expected high occupancy, Disney Vacation Club Members may not "pool hop" during the following dates*:
May 23 - 26, 2008
June 28 - July 5, 2008
August 29 - September 1, 2008
November 24 - 30, 2008
December 14, 2008 - January 4, 2009
*Other restricted dates may be added based on projected pool capacity.
