Where have you been stuck?

The worst time we were stuck it was not on a ride. We were in WDW for Easter and the park was so packed you couldn't move at all on Main Street. They closed the park but you couldn't move. Security came out through the stores and escorted us through the stores and out the back door. They then drove us out in trucks. The park remained closed for hours. We haven't gone at Easter again!

I was horribly ill during Mickey's Christmas Party. I wasn't 911-ambulance-to-the-hospital sick, but it was pretty bad. (It turned out to be pneumonia.) We literally couldn't push our way through the parade crowds on Main Street to get out of the MK. We asked a CM if there was anything they could do to help, and they shrugged and said no. I lust collapsed onto the pavement, cried for a while, and waited out the parade. It's good to know that sometimes they actually help people in that situation, even if it didn't get to be me.

The worse ride I've been stuck on was the Nemo ride at Epcot. We were stuck in the EAC tunnel with all of the moving bubbles for about 30 min before being evacuated. We were somewhat motion sick afterwards and made the mistake of moving on to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. My 9 yo niece barely made it out before vomiting all over. To this day I close my eyes when traveling the EAC, lol.

In 2012, my mom, sister and myself were stuck on the Small World ride for 30 minutes.....they kept the darn music on for most of that time too!

The only time we've ever been stuck on a ride, was during our last trip (September 2013). We got stuck on Space Ranger Spin, Peter Pan, and PeopleMover.

Aside from the little stops on the onmimover rides - Pirates, evacuated just before the drop. Lights came on, Cast Members put on water waders and pushed our boat back!

Ellen's Energy Adventure - we were all ready to move into the dinosaur bit, the cars jolted forward, locked and didn't move again. The ride commentary continued while we were stuck which was quite funny. Evacuated after 15 mins or so.

The longest I've ever been stuck was on The Great Movie Ride, and we were stuck for about 45 minutes just before the Indiana Jones temple scene. The Cast Member (gangster) stayed in character for a good 15 minutes and then decided she couldn't any more and played park trivia with us instead, which was fun. Fair play to her! Eventually we finished the ride :)

We've been "delayed" on most rides at WDW.....which we attribute to assisting those with special needs. :crutches: We have been stuck a few times on the HM, PeopleMover (had to be evacuated, which was fun!), Pirates...but the absolute worst was Buzz Lightyear. Lordy is that music loud!!!!!:scared: Couldn't carry on a conversation with all that noise drowning you out and folks were yelling to turn the music off. Which, of course, they didn't. We were stuck for a good half hour. I don't believe we went on that ride for a few visits after that!

Ugh, yes! I completely forgot that we were stopped for about 10 minutes on Buzz and it was terribly loud. We were in the tunnel with the video screens that look like you're flying through space. Made me feel a bit queasy after a while because you have the sensation of moving because of the video, but are actually not going anywhere.

During MNSSHP a few years ago we were stuck on Pirates for at least 45-60 minutes- We had to be evacuated from the ride and got to walk through a secret exit- they did give us fastpasses but it happened during the parade and so the fastpasses didn't help us there- We have been stuck on Pirates a few times since then, Spaceship Earth and Haunted Mansion a few times both backwards of course, and on the lift right before the big drop in Splash Mountain.

We got stuck on the Safari at AK. We sat for about 20 minutes while elephants were a little too active ahead of us. It wasn't scary but put us behind schedule abit but totally worth stopping and waiting. Also got stuck on Spaceship earth as a child while going down backwards and it scared me to death. I still have a hard time as an adult in that part of the ride.

Our best/most frightening stop was on Dinosaur right as they're about to save you from extinction and send you back to the future - it really seemed like we wouldn't be rescued!

Worst was on Spaceship Earth about two cars away from where we'd be able to get off. This was our very last ride in the park before going back to the hotel and getting on Magical Express to go home. They wouldn't let us jump out on to the platform and we were probably the last people to be able to get off. It was pretty frustrating!

I also got stuck once in the cold testing room at Test Track - pretty chilly!

The thread about being stuck on Pirates got me wondering about other folks' experiences getting stuck on rides at WDW. Best/worst experiences of being stuck?

Most recently, we were stuck on the Peoplemover in the dark at the Space Mountain portion. It was only about 5 minutes, but it freaked my kids out!
we got stuck on the peter pan ride about 5 minutes

Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, POTC, Nemo, Spaceship Earth off the top of my head. But none were overly time consuming.

I'd never want to be stuck on Mission Space. Good grief....way too tight I'd freak out.

Worst stuck ever was at Test Track. I was literally one car away from where you are unloaded, when the ride broke down. Problem was they unloaded from the rear so I was on the second to last car to be evacuated. For 30 minutes I was sitting there staring at the 6 feet I needed to go. Oh and my phone was dying and I had ridden solo, so my DW had no clue what was happening. Snapped this right before my phone died.

My best got stuck incident was during a blazing hot August day riding Little Mermaid. We were really hot and crankiness was making it's way into our day when we broke down in the reclining position as you are "entering" the water. We were also directly under an AC vent on full blast. It was the most glorious 20 minutes ever. My DS nodded off and it completely reinvigorated my DW and I. Wish I could FP that experience for our next August trip.

My husband and I got stuck on Spaceship Earth in the dark outskirts of the solar system. Actually, that was on our honeymoon...so kind of awesome. Fast forward 4 yrs and got stuck in small world, not awesome and a little like brainwashing...but our 3 year old son didn't mind a bit and was able to say goodbye in ten different languages, for some reason ;) FF about 10 years and got stuck on Haunted Mansion entering one of the main rooms, which was pretty cool and all three of our kids were fine with it. In 2011 we got stuck on the GIANT Mickey wheel of craziness in Disneyland, California Adventure, I think.

Spaceship Earth. We sat for quite a while and then had to be walked out.

In 2012, my mom, sister and myself were stuck on the Small World ride for 30 minutes.....they kept the darn music on for most of that time too!

A few years back we also got stuck in "It's Small World" & yes the song/music played on & on & on & on. Eventually CMs in waders had to come & rescue all of us.......

I've been stuck on Peoplemover, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. With Space Mountain, they turned the lights on, and we were able to see the track inside.

We got stuck on Toy Story Mania a couple of years back, it was awesome! I took some photos before they made me stop; we had to walk as a group from car to car as they let us all out. It was cool to have a behind the scenes look at how it works. (or doesn't!)

The worst was our last trip. Splash Mountain was being refurbished the next day so we decided on our first day at MK to ride it just once. A couple years before it had been my youngest son's favorite ride. Well right as we were leaving the start he started panicked but it was too late. We were off. My whole family started panicking. I hate that fricken ride and thought I was the only one. Everyone was grumbling. THen right before the drop it got stuck for 15 minutes. We sat there dreading the drop that wasn't coming and then with a jerk we were off. And ugh we all were crying by the time we reached the bottom. I swear those voices were demonic waiting for the drop. We swore at the bottom to never ride that ride again. My kids love roller coasters, like real roller coasters so it's kind of funny how terrified that made them.

Once my two oldest got stuck on Space Mountain. We were in the car ahead of them and had just made it to the end when they got stuck. The were 7 & 8 when this happened and they thought it was great but I was a little worried. We've also been stuck on Nemo, that damn music over and over. And The people mover but that's kind of fun.

We got stuck on spaceship earth for about 30 minutes, right at the top then had to evacuate, which took a long time and a lot of stairs! But it was actually really funny, we kept saying how neat is was that we got to walk back from the moon :p

I got stuck on buzz once right in front of a really easy target and sat there shooting over and over again for 5 minutes (I'm a bad shot so this was great for me, highest score I ever got!). I also find it funny watching everyone go crazy shooting whenever buzz gets stuck!
