Where has your 2-year-old slept in a 1BR?

Seriously, you think there are going to be bugs on the floor in your room? Geesh, just because it is FL doesn't mean the rooms are full of palmetto bugs. In our 25+ trips to Disney, we've seen maybe one in the room itself, probably because we had the door ushed open for a while otr left the balcony door open. And I think a child would survive just fine on the floor. Sleeping on the floor was a rite of passage for many of us as children. They will be just fine if that is the option. I can't imagine lugging a heavy air mattress for a two yr old.

Our twin 2 1/2 year old grandsons slept just fine in the sofa sleeper (Kidani)...in fact, they loved it! The only problem was they normally don't sleep in the same bed so they tended to wake each other up in the middle of the night. lol
I would go lay between them for a few minutes and they thought that was super special and would go back to sleep.

When our son was 2 months shy of 2 and 2 months shy of 3, he slept in the PNP. He's still (at 3 1/2!) in the crib at home, though. He has no desire for a big boy bed and I have no desire to have him free to wander the house at night, so it works for us. LOL.

At both WL and BLT, we just took the couch cushions and made a bed on the floor for our older daughter, who was 5 and 6 on each of our trips.

We bought a set of inflatable bed rails from onestepahead.com

they are easy to travel w/ and come with a small foot pump.

We put them under the sheets on the pull out.

A thumbs up for these bed rails! We love them for traveling.
