If I do the dining plan, I need another place to eat dinner since I decided to scratch Ohana off the list. I don't think my kids will be crazy about the food. So far I have on my list Chef Mickeys, Be Our Guest, Sci-fi, T-Rex, Garden Grill, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and 1900 Park Fare. I need one more place that has a great atmosphere and food that is dining plan worthy for 1 TS credit. I was thinking of either Crystal Palace, Hollywood and Vine, or Cape May Cafe. However, it also doesn't have to be a character meal if it is a place that 2 teenage boys would like. Preferable anywhere but Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom. Thanks!

50"s Prime Time Cafe. Has fun atmosphere for kids and the food is really good (Comfort food). I recommend the fried chicken. This is the one place that we go to on every trip.

From your list, I'd pick Crystal Palace. Tusker House is also a great meal (good buffet variety), and the new Bon Voyage breakfast at Trattoria al Forno is getting great reviews.

Have you considered doing one of the Mama Melrose dining packages with FPs for Fantasmic and/or Music of Pixar? Those are a great use of a dining credit.

Crystal Palace or Cape May are both good character meals. Other 1 credit meals we like are Coral Reef, Led Cues Dr France, Biergarten, Yak & Yeti and Skippers Canteen.

I agree. We like mama melrose

I don't see a World Showcase restaurant on your dinner list - Biergarten, Teppan Edo and Via Napoli are all fun places to eat and the WS is beautiful at night --cap off the evening with the fantastic fireworks show.

Via Napoli is the place I was planning on paying OOP for since it will be the cheapest place we eat. :)

I have to look more into it. It might be an option. However, I'm nervous about trying Mama Melrose since I have read many mixed reviews on it. There seems to be more negative than positive. :(

Cape May for dinner! Perfect place for two teenagers if you like seafood. When DS was a teen, this was one of the few places he walked away totally full.

Hmm, I'd say most of the reviews here are average to positive. For us, it was the surprise meal of our last trip. I was expecting average/mediocre Italian and it was really great. DH had a fantastic steak and my chicken Parmesan was delicious.

Crystal Palace breakfast. I've done their dinner multiple times and I felt like it got worse and worse.. but last year we did breakfast and it was SO good. Especially the puffed french toast. I'd also suggest Yaki & Yeti, Beaches and Cream, and 50's Prime Time. Via Napoli gets my vote as well and you're doing it right to pay out of pocket and use a TS for another restaurant :thumbsup2.

If you're worried about reviews, then maybe take another look at Chef Mickey's. It has some of the worst reviews of any restaurant at WDW.

I also vote for Cape May from your list, but also suggest Biergarten. Cape May is my 17 year old son's fav......btw Ohana is our family's absolute favourite restaurant (sons are teens too)
