where else to dine before MVMCP?

My mother and I were having trouble deciding too, but we recently came up with a plan. We are doing a late lunch at 2:45 at the Kona Cafe. We then plan to go to the Tambu Lounge for a drink or 2 before heading over to the party.

We managed to get alot done between 5 and 6pm last year. At 6pm all the rides close down and they ask people to head over to tomorrowland until the party starts at 7pm. I think the stuff in Tomorrowland stayed running. The first show at the Galaxy theatre would probably be crowded because that's the area that everyone starts in if they get there early.

My DH and I are going to WDW (no kids) 12/3-12/10.

We are going to MVMCP on 12/4 and have a ADR for California Grill at 5pm.

We plan to get our wrist band, go to dinner and start the Magic at 7:00pm.

Two years ago we did the same for MNSSHP (but we ate in the Castle) and everything worked fine.

I am eating at CRT at 5:05 before MCMCP,but I am hoping for a litte later time.

We are doing Ohana at 5:00. It is our tradition. Plus, we love that place.

We are having dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe before the party and then hopping the boat on over.

I tried to get CP for 6:00 on 12/4, but the latest they offered me is 5:00pm. So, I booked a character breakfast and then CP at 5. At least we won't need lunch!! I was hoping to avoid the Tomorrowland crunch from 6-7, but last time we went, it wasn't too bad. There just wasn't much to do in there for an hour.

We're doing MVMCP on the 11th, and because it's my dd's 6th birthday that day as well, she got to pick the restaraunt. Originally we were going with O'Hana, but with the menu change we asked her if she wanted something else, so we're doing dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare at 4:30.

We do a TS meal before MNSSHP and plan on doing one before MVMCP because it's a nice way to start off a special night. Otherwise we'll spend more money snacking the night away.

We are going to set our ADR for The Plaza I am not sure at what time, but that will be decided tomorrow morning. Maggie

We're going to MVMC on 12/6. I made an ADR at Whispering Canyon at the WL. We did this last year and it worked great. Dinner at 5:30, we should at the MK by 7:00 or so, last year we got there about 7:10.
