Last October we spent two weeks at Disney, it was Fab, weather was ideal.
Looking at going same time of year again this year, me hubby and two boys, 10 and 12.
This time however was thinking of spending 10 nights at Disney and 4 nights e
Se where, BUT WHERE, is the question!
Should we rent a villa, stay in a hotel, have heard clear water is lovely, should we be more central so we can travel around, or even consider a Disney cruise?
Could even think of going to another part of America!
Realy don't know what we want to do, would like to see more of America than Disney, don't think We want to sit on a beach all day as we tend to do that in Spain every summer. Looking for something that is interesting and good value, any suggestions?

Depending on how you feel about driving, I would suggest either the Florida Keys (absolutely beautiful) or St Augustine. My preference would be St Augustine - you have the best of both worlds; beaches and a city feel. There is some ownderful history there, the tram tour is very informative and a lot of fun. Your boys would probably love the Alligator Farm (you can easily spend a whole day there) and the views from the lighthouse are spectacular.

There is more information in my trip reports (They're back and They're Child Free and The Keys to The World) about the kinds of things there are to do and see.

At Easter we are doing 5 nights in Orlando followed by 4 in New York.

Really looking forward to it. We have done the coast before but tend to do day trips now from Orlando now.

Disney cruises are wonderful and I'd say 10 & 12 are good ages for them.

I would personally do a cheaper hotel on Idrive and have fun visiting SW/Universal and visiting some off site restaurants. You would probably need a car, though.

Thank you for all the advice, I can see why I usually stick at Disney, just too much choice!!!
