Where does the afternoon parade begin and end?

We will be flying in on April 27th at 12:30pm. The only day of our trip that the afternoon parade is scheduled at MK is for 3:30 that day. I think we can make it if we hire transportation from the airpoart to the Carribian Beach resort, put luggage in our rooms and head straight over to MK. Do you think that is possible and does the parade begin or end at the top of main street?

It is not possible to answer your questions at the moment. There is currently no afternoon parade at MK, but a new one is expected to debut before your trip. Once that starts, good answers can be given.

I'm actually surprised you see a schedule somewhere with the new one listed, and at an unusual time. May I ask where you saw that?

My son's high school marching band is scheduled to perform in a 'pre-parade' at the end of March prior to the afternoon parade at 2:30 p.m. I would think the main parade would start by 3 in that case?

Maybe, I don't see that on his site, only that for his April crowd calendar he mentions that the old parade is no longer available.

I'm assuming for now that the new afternoon parade will be very similar to the old one in terms of time and duration. That would mean it would run starting at 3:00p, begin at the front of the park and exit at the back (near Splash), and go for about 12-15 minutes.

ok...so I went back to double check and it's actually on Saturday the 26th not the 27th and it's in the narative part under the calendar where he gives his explanations of park recomendations. Either way, it sounds like it's not accurate. When does the new parade begin? I would think it would be on a Sunday afternoon wouldn't you?

It's projected to begin in mid-March and will occur on a daily basis. You shouldn't have a problem seeing it on your planned MK day!
