DISNEY QUEST SOUNDS EXCELLENT AND PEOPLE HAVE SUGGESTED TO GO DURING THE DAY WHEN ITS LESS CROWDED,WHERE DOES DISNEY QUEST COME IN YOUR MUST DO ACTIVITIES EXAMPLE: 1ST MK 2ND MGM 3RD EPCOT ETC :scratchin

Well, I do really enjpy Disney Quest but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't necessarily squeeze it on on a first trip unless I was "in the area" and my park tickets covered admission :)

We had every intention of going but somehow never found the time. ;)

We didn't visit DTD at all on our first trip, but on our second trip last year we did disney quest 3 or 4 times. Its cool, you can get a snack and a cuppa, the kids get to play on all the free arcade games (retro 70's ones too), and virtual reality games, and you can take advantage of the free internet access. I also left DH and kids in there while I got the boat over to the marketplace for some last minute gift shopping.

Would certainly visit again.

We've been to Orlando 3 times....always thought about Disney Quest but never got there, so by default it's a pretty long way down the list.

only if its raining and there isnt a movie on I want to see

Oh we love Disney Quest, always visit it at least once on our trip, but I had heard it was closing down, is this not the case now. I hope its not although it could do with a little revamp. :goodvibes

It isnt on my must do list! I am not averse to visiting Disney Quest but it isnt something I would do for a few trips yet. It will be someething I do to make a trip in a few years different from the rest

i did it last trip because I was dying to see inside that huge building and now i have done everything i wanted to I certainly wouldn't make a space for it. If I happen to be in DTD with a couple of hours to kill then I'm sure i would, provided it was on my ticket already. There is no way i would pay entry on the door at the price they are asking

Even though a day doesn't go by without me playing some form of electronic game, I've never wanted to go into DQ. During the last two visits to DTD we just passed it by. If it was free I might venture in but I'm not paying to enter a glorified amusement arcade.

We've always meant to go but just never got around to it.

What type of park tickets do you buy Andru when you go?? The ultimate ticket and some of the other tickets Im sure include entry to Disney Quest, and I think if you ventured in you would see that it is a little more than a glorified amusement arcade, my daughter always finds loads of things to keep her entertained in there and there are some great family fun things to do as well.

The old 5 day hopper passes, plenty enough Disney for us in two weeks. I believe we could've used these tickets but it would have been classed as a days park entry - and no video games are that good.

Maybe if they had a full size Quake 3 Arena or Half Life 2 then my sons and I would go in!

Our 10 day magic you way tickets have 5 bonus days for water parks or Disney quest so will be going in at least once this next trip.
First time we did DQ we were there for opening expecting to stay for about 4 hours. They had to kick us out at closing. We have now been 3 times and cant wait to go again. Never played video games, or did funfares etc when I was younger so guess I am just doing now what I should have done in my teens.

We had the Ultimate tickets [which include DQ admission] on our last trip but had not included DQ in our planning.

So..., we'd spent a lazy morning in DTD and were thinking of heading back to the car and came across DQ. "Oh, yeah...I've read about this..it's included in our tickets, we might as well go in."

I have to say it is exactly what we suspected it would be...a glorified amusement arcade. Tacky and a bit dirty to be honest. Kids were 9, 12, 14 and not one of them were impressed. Sure, we spent 2 hours there doing Jungle Cruise [cheap idea which didn't really work], Alien Encounter [just rubbish], AstroBlasters [dodgems with frustrating "cannons"], Ride the Comix [these 3-D headsets didn't work 20 years ago, but Disney is still using them], Pinball Slam [????].

Without a doubt, it was the poorest Disney experience we encountered.

Do it only if:
1. You don't pay extra at the door.
2. You have nothing better to do.

Wow something you hate more than Epcot and On-site hotels!!!! :lmao:

To the OP

Yours is the 10 day trip right?? As I think you are struggling to fit everything in anyway, unless this was included in the ticket you buy and you are in the area I woud give it a miss. DQ is a good place for a break from the crowds, there are some great rides and don't forget the Cheesecakr Factory at the top!!!

A great way to spend a couple of hours on an August afternoon to get out of the ridiculous heat. I wouln't pay extra to go. The cheesecakes that are sold there are an added bonus.

Like many other posters, we've often intended to go, but never seem to get around to it. Now it's closing, I feel we should just to say we've seen it, but I doubt we will. I definitely wouldn't try to shoe-horn it in to a first trip when you'll struggle to fit everything in anyway.
