I'm exactly the same size and I totally agree! I bought the red Minnie tank with the bows all over it last summer and I had to buy an XXL :crazy2: and it just fits me. I almost didn't buy it because it bothered me that I had to get a much larger size than usual. I finally realized I bought it because I was so desperate to just buy SOMETHING. I had so much saved up money to burn and nothing to burn it on.

I wonder if this is because their clothing is made in China. I like the NOTW shirts and they are the same way. Their XXL would be the same as a medium from a place like Kohl's or Macy's. I believe their clothing is also made in China.

That's so crazy! If its being sold in the US, size it like the US. I actually have two t shirts that I recently purchased from disneystore.com. Both listed under 'women's' so I bought a large. One is huge (but perfect after being washed a couple times,) and one was perfect, but after one wash could now fit a first grader! Ridiculous!

I agree about the sizes - it's weird, too, because Disney is known to be a friendly place for people of size. :confused3

I also agree about everything being so generic. I personally am sort of obsessed with Disney beach towels - they are my favorite souvenir at the moment. I find the same 3 or 4 at every shop/store/stand. Years back I found a gloriously fantastic villains towel outside the Haunted Mansion. I STILL get a thrill every time I look at it, mostly because I feel so lucky to have gotten something so special. Not the same feeling when you can find the same thing at every store. The other day, DH told DD, "You better get that red drink away from Mom's villain towel!" ::yes:: Indeed.

DW would say they don't have enough of a variety of pooh sized shirts

ITA about the beach towels!! I look constantly and all they ever have are the super charactery ones for kids. I found one online a month ago and snagged one for me and one for my sister immediately because I knew they'd be a hot commodity since its the first adult Disney towel I've seen in years.

Mine isn't on the poll, however I'd like to see more designs on the t-shirts. Also, I know a lot of women aren't like this, but I only wear men's t-shirts. It'd be cool if some of the designs on the women's tees could be replicated on men's tees.

For me it's the pins. I'm a collector, and I really have to examine them for scratches. Most cast members I see toss them around like they're throw pillows. At Epcot's 25th Anniversary cast members at the Pin Station were actually removing the LE pins from their plastic bags and tossing them into bins. For the price you pay, they should all be left in those little plastic bags.

Maybe I won't need so much money for my trip in two weeks! I agree on my last couple of trips I had a hard time finding a t shirt design I liked. They were selling a retro "Walt Disney world" design in several colors and discounted and I found one in a cool blue. That blue turned out to only be available in the men section of the emporium. Pink was everywhere. Most of my WDW shirts over the years have lasted though--I wore a Mickey shirt today that was probably 10 years old.
I used to get a magnet specific to the resorts. Last time I did was 2009 at SSR. When we stayed at POR in 2010 they didn't have anything resort specific. In 2012 I found DVC merchandise of good quality, but nothing for our resort . I also have several cute picture frames that are Disney but not DISNEY--just a little touch, not in-your-face theming. I have a house, not a theme park.
I have purchased earrings over the years that fell apart. And key chains.
We have beach towels and most of them have held up, except one that frayed like crazy.
I still think the refillable mug is a good souvenir choice....I take one with iced tea to work every day. But again, I wish they were resort specific.

You should have added resort specific merchandise,I'll buy a AKL or WL shirt before I buy a generic looking park shirt. They've reduced their resort merchandise to where it's rare to non existent.

This isn't the case anymore. Resort-specific merchandise has been released more and more over the past year. :thumbsup2

specifically...Scrubs... in 2012 when I went, my sister, who is a nurse, asked me to bring her 1 thing. She wanted a scrub shirt that had something to do with Disney World. Not just the characters like you can get at Walmart or other general merchandise stores, but one that had something to do with the parks. I even asked at Guest Services if they knew of anywhere I could get one, and they spent 30 minutes looking through their own online uniform catalogs and could find nothing.
