Everyone has a link that supports their view of the AR school system. How are we to really know what each state ranks in education?

Well my link is from the US New & World News. I do not claim to know who owns it or runs it, but it tends to have articles that are not "state" based as in putting one state above another for the benefit of the publication...

We don't. What was it Mark Twain said about statistics. Oh, yes, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

As a native Arkansan, I know our state has certainly placed a priority on education in recent years. Like any other state, it varies from area to area, cities to suburbs to rural schools, but I do believe there has been vast improvement in the area of education.

I graduated from high school in the late eighties and our class had a huge percentage of students receiving scholarships.

Hopefully, I haven't made too many areas and won't be judged to harshly!
